Fish Disease

Aquarium and pond fish kept in an artificial environment are prone to parasitic infestations. For a mixed population tropical tank this can be devastating but for the Koi carp keeper a nightmare. A number of factors can result in the spontaneous appearance of parasites, from the common Ich in the aquarium, to the more serious Costia and Trichodina in Koi carp. A microscope can identify or rule out the presence of parasites quickly, and we have designed kit options that simplify the whole process and do not require any previous experience. We have a separate website specifically for this.
