The Meiji MT9000 is a research specification Japanese trinocular transmitted illumination polarising microscope with a build quality the equal of microscopes of a significantly greater price.
Large stable microscope stand with graduated coaxial coarse and fine focus mechanism, and a rack and pinion focusing condenser. The Kohler illumination system has precentred 30 watt quartz halogen lighting.

The trinocular head has a high transmission prism system and one eye tube is slotted for orientation of eyepiece cross hairs.
•Extra bright, extra large interference figures are produced by a new concept Bernard lens.
•Strain free optics throughout.
•Ball bearing rotating circular stage, 150 mm diameter, graduated with vernier scales and stage clips.
